This webpage is a historical and geneological account of the Jose Maria Garcia Martinez and Eulalia Garcia Peña of South Texas. Their beautiful green eyed daughter, Maria Del Pilar, was my father's beloved mother. The Garcias were a successful ranching family and had homes in Guerrero, Tamaulipas, Mexico and in Hebbronville, Texas. They had six children and their names are listed to the left and a webpage is dedicated to each family. To learn more about the Garcia family heritage go to the "Our family" page. There are several photos included in this website and I solicit contributions from my many cousins of photos, documents and historical accounts.
